Lulu
My friend and co-worker, Ben Sanders, has an adorable French Bulldog named, Lulu. I love her and felt inspired to do some sketches :) She's a complete lap dog and doesn't drool, bark, whine, or bite. She has this really cute way of sitting, it's like a kneel actually so that her back legs flip back. She keeps the team happy and I get to sit next to her everyday! For you, Lulu!! XD

APE 2012!!
It's finally coming! I will be sharing a booth at APE with two other amazing artists, Steph Lew and Genevieve Tsai, selling prints, sketch booklets, and more! Our Booth name is 'Friendship Is Magic', booth #121/122. It's one of my favorite conventions - a mix of comic-con, renegade craft faire, and maker's faire wrapped in one! If not only to visit me, the stuff produced and sold at this convention is inspirational and extremely fun to peruse. Please look at the Facebook Events page for more details and map location:

The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe...
This was my piece for the Beasts and Beats gallery show this past September 1st, 2012. It is a twist on The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. The words go:
"There was an old woman who lived in a shoe,
she had so many children, she didn't know what to do..."
Instead of children, I swapped them for kittens, as I thought kitten would be much more fun! :D
I will actually have a print of this at APE 2012 this year. So, if you enjoy this piece, I'll have it available at my booth! I'll put up more details about APE as it gets closer.

Nate's Chameleons
I drew and painted this, digitally, as a wedding gift for my cousin Nathan and his now wife, Laura. They have 3 chameleons at home and love those guys to death. I wanted to make something special using their chameleons as inspiration. Chameleons are actually super fun to draw, so this was an enjoyable project! Took a while to get the composition down and there are a few things I would tweak, but I am happy with how it turned out. I was even happier with the look on Nathan's face when he saw it XD I really wanted this to be something special for him and Laura. Congrats you two! :)
